First Impressions

Initial Notes on Scotland/UK
  1. Everyone has such an awesome accent I wish I had one
  2. The drivers sit on the right hand side, drive on the left side of the road, and the pedestrians walk on the left side
  3. People walk so fast
  4. Lots and lots of walking across 'cobblestone' roads and uneven sidewalks and steeply inclined hills
  5. Groceries and eating out cost a little bit more, but there's no tax and tip, so it's taking some time for me to get used to it
  6.  Elevator = Lift, Clubs = Societies, Queso = Cheese Sauce, Apartment = Flat
  7. I really love the Scots. Though they're quite liberal with their swearing and their alcohol, they are so very kind and in the most genuine way
