Apartment Bedroom

Ooh! I finally got my room organized and took a few photos :) I have this light green, cream, and black theme going (or at least I tried to make it happen).
Forgive me for any strange hues on the photos, I have yet to pick up my second monitor to double check photo colors. (My first one died...)

I absolutely love my bedding. My mom bought it for me a year or two ago, but I never felt the need to bring it to school. I thought I should have a more cohesive room decoration this year, so I brought it in to make the room pretty.

With my matching little white rug and black furniture. And of course, Mr. Bear Bear.

This guy comes with me everywhere. Love that thing.

I love love love my pictures but I usually go overboard on the photo-collaging and hanging when given the opportunity, so instead I kept it simple over my desk with my three favorite photos.

The rest of my desk/work area, complete with my calendars and my sister's architecture piece. My friend gave me his black glass desk+shelf, and though the desk space itself isn't very much, I do love the black. The blank area between the calendars and my laptop will be for my second monitor when I pick it up this weekend. The thing is supposed to be massive so I figured I'd just take pictures without it for now. 
I don't have any drawers, so instead I bought a bunch of collapsible fabric baskets and throw all my stuff in there and then slide them on my shelf. You can't really see them in this image, but they're a great, inexpensive storage solution.

The view from my window. Yes, it's sometimes weird often seeing children and guys playing basketball, but this view definitely trumps the alternative: the parking lot. There's a ton of sun in the morning up until about noon, and then there's just a nice glow the rest of the day.
