Baking Day #2

HEY HO
Take 2 for the amateur baker!

1. Taste it before you add another 1/2+ cup of honey. Please.
2. Ingredients are there for a reason

Today's theme: Oatmeal.
So I made these little buggers first. And they turned out a LOT worse than I had hoped. Don't let the nice lighting fool you.
I tried to make like no-bake [oh! the irony!] energy type treats, but we didn't have any peanut butter and I didn't want to get dates so I thought it would be okay without them. NO. NO. 
Waaayyyy too much honey. Too late when I finally tasted it :( I was just trying to make them stick together.

Chia seeds, flax seeds, quick oats, toasted shredded coconut, cranberries, toasted almonds, rice puffs, and an exorbitant amount of honey!



3. DON'T. LET. THE. FOOD. BURN.

Apple, Walnut, Raising Oatmeal cookies.
These were actually really delicious! Though I did burn the bottom! Again!

I just added a half-cup of raisins cause
why not you know? And less than 1/2 cup for both sugars, probably about 2/3 cup total? Yep yep. I was originally afraid there were too many apples in the batter but it turned out well!
