So I mentioned this to someone back home the other day, but she asked me what Christianity was because she was comparing religions? Buddhism and Christianity I guess for her class assignment.OMG I could write a whole nother post about this (And that's what I'm doing now) but, I'll just condense it. She asked me to explain like the concepts of Christianity. And I FROZE UP. IT WAS LIKE, "Sure!" and then, everything I ever learned from VBS and church went blank. Well I think I still sufficiently covered everything. The gospel: the good news, what is the good news? Who Jesus is, what God/Jesus did for us, His nature: just, love, grace, mercy, and some other things I've forgotten now. But the whole time I was running the wordless book through my head trying to remember each of the colors and the order. O dear. smh. But yeah. It's weird because I've shared the gospel with a couple friends before, but I've never felt so pressured and O.O. I guess mainly because she doesn't know anything about Christianity and if she's hearing it for the first time, man! I gotta get it right!! She asked like, if Christianity hated/disliked homosexuals and black people. (That was definitely new). But I explained how though homosexuality is a sin, (Anything you think say or do that breaks Gods law......) we are still to love everyone just as Christ loves us.
ANYWAYS. PRAY FOR ME, that I would be given more opportunities to share the gospel and also more opportunities to talk about it with my roommate!! God has definitely placed me here for some reason, so strength, the words and knowledge to speak, and the boldness to do so :)
