freshman day #39

TODAY

I slept till 2:00PM.

It was lovely. I had a late lunch and did homework in the dining hall. idk why I prefer doing hw in the dining hall. You eat your meal and then do your homework. The back tables are spacious and decently clean plus in weird hours there aren't many people so it's quite quiet.
I haven't found the perfect study spot though. I could explore the library, but the library is so far from my dorm!!

M and S told us that there was no such thing as a 'safe guy'. Like a guy you could be good friends with but have no strong emotional attachments to. I think there is.
I've made some good friends now. There's Simba and Liane from bible study, Sarah and Kara from orientation, Kevin from...the Kelley carnival?, Alex from Texas, Michael and SooSup from Navigators, and Lesley from class.

I think I spend too much time talking/hanging with _. But he's so chill and it's weird to say, but he reminds me of home. Even though he didn't even grow up in the US. But it's comfortable, and he's a good friend.

Molly and Kevin are my sophomore friends, both very friendly and always helpful. Praise God that I met them. And I talk to my roommate more now, it's more than just "Hi" and "Bye" going in and out of the room. So yay!

Taking each day on one at a time.

But it is college day #39 and I can securely say I have friends :)
