Indeed IT HAS BEEN :D
So went to church this morning!! I did not over sleep. I had to walk in the rain for like 10 minutes to get to the pick-up location though :/ I need rainboots. My feet were wet and cold all morning.
But nevertheless, it's at the Boys&Girls Club near campus, so it's not a formal church building, but I quite enjoyed it. The pastor did basically an improv message today based on what someone shared. It's very, loose. Not very structured. We talked in little discussion groups with those sitting around us in the beginning after worship and before the sermon. So definitely something very different, but it was a good change. I'll visit again next week, they're supposed to be starting the book of Daniel. (aha! A different take is always good)
The girl who was our ride was the 'Northwest Coordinator' for the club I applied and interviewed for several weeks ago, but she did not remember me. -__- She recognized my face, but not where she met me. *sigh* That's okay though, I am very appreciative that they drove me there. Then we went to her and her roommates house --> sorority house. LIKE DANG. Those things are fancy, so nicely furnished. So much of the school population here rushes, Greek life is HUGE. Apparently for second year housing, (next fall) people are already signing apartment leases. Everyone basically moves off campus for their second year though: either into a greek house, or an apartment. Everyone who's still on campus is generally an RA. How complicated/annoying. I think I'll be living on campus next year anyways though.
BUT AFTERWARDS, I went to Epic bible study again. We went over the passage of John 15: 9-17. So there's this one guy in the group who's a junior? I believe. But he's very open and he likes to talk about his interpretations of the passage and sometimes I don't think it's correct, or rather it contradicts with what I've learned at least, but I can't find / don't know the scripture to back up whatever I would say in return = not sure and I don't want to speak up. So I definitely need to be reading more of scripture!!
AND well random stuff. Edited resume. Dinner with S. FOUND OUT I GOT INTO KELLEY LEAD IN!!! (Undergraduate Leadership Initiative) They take on actual cases with businesses in the local area and they work like, marketing, databases, etc and help them implement solutions, so SUPER GREAT OPPORTUNITY I'm so excited and SO SO SO SO THANKFUL.
PRAISE GOD
That interview went SO BAD like honestly, even if they were looking to take a lot of people this year, they could probably just have rejected me simply because it went so poorly.
Thank God, truly, it is all You.
After 3 rejections, I got my first acceptance e-mail. So much relief. So much joy. Praise God, You are so good to me. Even when I honestly think it's all lost. Wow.
I must have looked really stupid cheering to myself and shaking my fists and thanking God in the quiet library section but WHATEVER. THE FIRST MEETING IS TOMORROW WEEEEE. I'm adding a picture because it's just that spectacular.

So that's my spiel for the weekend. I might not write in awhile so, enjoy. You can read like a paragraph a day, ahaha.
THE END.
