freshman day #23

deja vu.

So I am literally drowning in the things I have to do, but I still wanted to write this.

TODAY. We wrote nested If statements in excel.

Good old compsci days.

and then I had that other class but that literally was so boring like I can't even begin to tell you how useless that class is to me right now.

But today a staff from the Navs (super young, super pretty and sweet) took me out and treated me to some RED MANGO yes froyo, and we just chatted about like my testimony kinda and how I truly came to putting my life in God. That was fun. I really liked the froyo.

It was large group for Navigators tonight so I went to that despite the fact that I have a ton of homework, but I needed a break. And everything just reminded me of back at GEL. We watched a video to start out, and it led to the icebreaker like: What are some ways you want to grow this year and what are some things you think are hindering you? (The cat had a goal....it did not accomplish it...(well sorta) but there was a gate in the way of his goal)

And then we had worship. It's really small worship, just a guitar and an upperclassman leading. But the guy played a guitar that was the same guitar as B's.

Then (I guess this was a new thing but) we broke up into 'discussion groups' and read a passage together and then answered some questions. It was interesting, we went all the way back to Genesis to discuss like, what the world was like before sin, after sin, etc.

And then the leader closed us with some notes about the passage, main points and such. And I read his name label and it said "Brian." I was like, woah, that's really trippy. I mean I knew his name was Brian but it's just such a coincidence. Everything was just so deja vu. But in like, a totally different setting.

LOL. My cool story for the day
