awkward.
Today I realized just how awkward and out of place I feel on this campus.
I went to this call-out meeting for a business club for "Pan-Asian Leaders" because I talked to that one guy at the Kelley Carnival thing last Friday and he was Asian American so naturally I thought, hey there should be at least some Asian Americans right?
NO.
NOT
ONE.
And I truly realized how awkward I was. I was sitting in that room surrounded by international students speaking either an Asian language or heavily accented English and I was afraid to speak or open my mouth in any way.
You just don't fit in. I can't truly associate with the white people on campus, but I feel even more awkward around the Asians on campus.WHEN DID IT BECOME SO WEIRD TO BE ASIAN AMERICAN.
