freshman day #17

Chilling.

Today was pretty chill. It was really nice, I actually had a good time today.

In my 'Kelley Compass' class, we reviewed our Career Leader reports (fancy survey/testing site that lists out your business interests/leadership motivators/skills/career possibilities). My top interest was 'Enterprise Control' and my top leadership motivator was 'Power and Influence'. LOLOL, does that sound like me. I ran through the test pretty fast though cause I wanted to sleep....but I guess it sorta matches me.....Supply Chain was actually one of the lower career possibilities for me, because supply chain also involves interest in technology and research/quantitative analysis, interests that I did not test as high for. ALTHOUGH, it was still considered a good match. I guess we'll see. I might be able to do better in Operations/Production Management, but that job pays less...and it sounds less cool D:

We also had Kelley Carnival today, basically a fair of all the organizations and clubs in the business school. I met a friendly asian american today at one of the Asian business organizations today. I honestly think he was the nicest upperclassmen I have met at IU so far. He was a sophomore and he showed me some good study places in the Kelley Graduate side of the school and we chatted with his friend. He wasn't obligated to show me around (like people in club call-outs might be), or like get to know me, but he did anyways :3

I spoiled myself eating at this Asian cuisine place in Kirkwood. Some Japanese dish, it was HUGE. LIKE BASICALLY TWO DINNERS but I was so hungry when I got there I didn't realize how giant the bowl was until I was nearly finished and I was like...wait...how much did I just eat?!

Food baby. It was like at least 3 cups of food I would say. Plus it was like $12 off my credit card. Sorry Mommy/Daddy! It was pretty authentic Asian food though: not overly salty or oily, meat was prepared how I like it :9

Chilled with K and M the rest of the day playing cards (what's the name, where you try to have the lowest deck?! We called it pineapple because I couldn't remember the name D:) and then shared stories about our cities.

We had a long discussion about the weather. THERE'S WIND CHILL IN THE WINTER O SHOOT. I am seriously going to freeze. like no. joke.

Tomorrow morning I have 'Pancakes and Prayer' with IU Navigators. I'm pretty excited for pancakes.

THE END.
