freshman day #16

productive days.

Today was a very very long day. Not in the sense that it was tiring and exhausting, but I just did so much. We presented our project in Computers in Business and I think that turned out quite well. I still hyperventilated anyways, but less so.

I did a ton of homework for my other classes that I had put off, and then I even took a nap. After my second class I went to the Asian Culture Center (after biking around in circles) to eat some Asian food with a bunch of other Asian Americans actually. It was decent: oily and somewhat salty and definitely not homemade but it was Asian food nonetheless. I visited Intervarsity afterwards with my two AA (Asian American) Buddies.

IT WAS TINY, MAN. A group of only about 15 people. I think they were missing some upperclassmen of the group, but it was a very very small and quite intimate setting. Almost like, bible study setting. I'm not sure the theme of the month really pertains to me, but the group was pretty fun to hang around, although I would have liked to see more upperclassmen who could potentially mentor/guide us freshmen. I dropped by Cru afterwards to meet someone, closing worship was still loud and amazing and the room was packed.

OH. I forgot to mention, PB (yes, the one and only PB) connected me with a girl on campus that goes to his church in IL. She's in Cru and a bible study leader for sophomores. But anyways, she offered to give me a ride to her church on Sunday and I'm pretty excited for that. Finding a church might take awhile, especially since you can only try one a week.

BUT YEAH, overall a good day. I'm making schedules again to fit all my work in, so things are kinda settling down. Gotta spend extra time filling out applications for clubs and such but other then that!

THE END.
