*Golden sparkles for my golden year*
Just to reflect on what's happened since the beginning of the year:
- I'm really getting the swing of 2-day trips since I'm so tight on vacation days - I've been on 5 trips this year! Shoutout to United Mileage.
- My best friend from college visited me in Houston!
- My family checked out some cool Texas scenery at Longhorn Cavern and Inks Lake State Park. Would recommend! Was rather impressed with the Texas scenery at both.
- My grade school friend got married and I visited LA with some high school friends
- My childhood church friend got married
- I took 'Perspectives on the World Christian Movement' and my eyes were opened to the missional call for all Christians to let all nations know about the redeeming love and grace of Jesus through his death and resurrection! Also realized that going back to school would be super difficult.
- Isaac and I celebrated 2.5 years of dating :O
- The final season of Jane the Virgin. I'm undecided on how I feel about this season….the story arches seem to be a little rushed and the creativity (episode themes) isn't as outstanding as in previous seasons.
- Dirk Nowitzski retired (o m g)
- I started going to a gym and working out on a regular basis - for the first time since senior year of high school (l o l)
- Issac and I got engaged! :O
