work day thoughts #4

When I'm not overly busy, I fall asleep.

My lids feel heavy, my head feels heavy, and even when my tongue and breath reek of coffee - I feel sleepy.

Maybe it's because my head doesn't have space to wander - I'm not thinking about cleaning, or my plants, or online shopping, or cooking, or Instagram artists, or whatever host of random things that come to mind when I'm working from home. Or maybe it's because my hormones or calcium levels or something are off.

I can't quite figure it out - it doesn't happen when I'm at home, it doesn't happen when I'm off of work, it's not even that bad when I'm driving. Half the time, I'm super awake at work - no issues whatsoever. The other half, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open even while standing at my desk.

But either way, I would very much like to close my eyes and rest my head on my hands and doze off. Even if just for 10 minutes?

How to cure sleepiness?

Probably exercise. I should probably exercise.
