junior day #122

I must take a moment to recognize this incredible God sighting today.
God constantly seems to slap me upside the head and say, 'see, I'm still in control.'

While at work today, I met a girl who was working for Southwest Airlines. She just graduated from IU, and started work here in Dallas. After a bit of conversation, she asked for my e-mail so she could share internship information with me.
Regardless if she ever contacts me or if an internship ever materializes, these are all the things that had to fall into place for this exchange to happen:
  • She was shopping at our particular Coach Men's this afternoon where
  • She found something she wanted and
  • I was in 3C (at the cash register) ringing up transactions, and
  • I helped her check out, and
  • Had to check her ID to match her credit card, and
  • Saw an Indiana license, which prompted me to ask about Indiana,
  • Where she was from, and
  • Just graduated from Kelley, so we discussed I-Core and business and
  • She was wearing a Southwest Airlines volunteer shirt, where I applied for internships,
  • But only because a lady I did an informational interview with suggested it last month, and
  • I asked her about internships/her role there,
  • Which eventually led to us exchanging contact information.
I am so encouraged and amazed by the ways in which God works. Yesterday I had lunch with Sophie and Nathan and was so encouraged by their words and their experiences of completely depending on God and constantly seeking His will. And plus God's reminder today.
I don't know what God wants for me, and right now my recruiting struggles and future career options don't make any sense. But at some point they will, and I can't wait for when I'll look back and see how God was working through every circumstance.
