sophomore day #152

sophomore year: part II

Classes started last Monday. I'm taking a measly 14 credits this semester, with 4 of those credits consisting of easy, stress-free work.
Chinese, Business Law, and Managerial Accounting are my hard classes.
The Chinese professor upped our workload and application of vocab and whatnot so it'll probably take more time this semester. Not that it didn't take enough time studying vocab the first time around. Law seems interesting. The reading is tough, and there's so much material, but it's interesting. Business, civil case fun. My accounting professor is like a sweet dad. Like how my econ professor could have been a Santa. I think I'll enjoy the class, as much as you can possibly enjoy an accounting class of course.

Visual Composition (through the Journalism school) and Intermediate Jazz are my relaxed classes. I mean, I'm re-learning (observing) how to use the DSLR. (Canon Rebel T5i...ehh) Then I'll learn how to edit pictures! And use InDesign! And Final Cut Pro! Well, the last two elements are a bit foreign to me, so I guess my tuition dollars will be put to good use in the end. And it's a prerequisite for the advertising class I actually want to take. I'm excited to be taking a dance class. As much as I'd love to learn boxing or martial arts or self defense so I can be bad a- like my sister, I can't shake my desire to dance.

It's been a really long time since I've actually written. I've forgotten what the voice in my head sounds like when it's all spilled out onto a keyboard. A new, clickety-clackety keyboard. Does anyone remember when I used to write about my every detail of my every day? That was fun right. My days have just been so, wonderfully fun.

But I wanted to write this post because last time, when I first described my freshman year, second semester professors, I wrote how my financial accounting professor was the most remarkable, awesome man in the world, and how I looked forward to learning from him. BUT HE WASN'T. HE WATCHED US SUFFER AND HE ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. And needless to say, I'm glad I never have to take a class from him again. Sure he was brilliant, but....he could have played the seemingly innocent, 'nice guy' in a movie who was actually the evil antagonist in the plot who would destroy the main character. Yep, that's an accurate description.

THE END.
