Good Morning.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23 

“Yet if you devote your heart to him [God] and stretch out your hands to him,
if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,
then, free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear.
You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by.
Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. 
You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety."
Job 11:13-18

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. 
I wait for the Lord
    more than watchmen wait for the morning,
    more than watchmen wait for the morning. 
Psalms 130: 5-6

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalms 30:5

 'wishful thinking' used to imply that I was waiting for something more, for something better. Something that I didn't think would ever come.
But I realize that I already have hope. I am satisfied in Christ. I wait now for Him, for the LORD, who is sure to come, just as morning comes each day.
