AND ME oh my, it is BEAUTIFUL here in the Midwest.
Yes we have gotten our fair share of rain. And there is more to come. But the weather is just so lovely these days. I'm talking balmy highs in the mid 60's to 70's and sunny skies all around.
The flowers here on campus are lovely as well. We've had daffodils everywhere for a couple of weeks, but the trees are really blooming now.
It smells lovely and it's pink and white and light spring green EVERYWHERE.
As much as I'm excited to go home, I'm sad I can't enjoy the lovely weather much longer. Spring in the Midwest is truly splendid.
I didn't even realize trees came in so many different colors!!
Although they have those pear trees (like the ones in Plano) here too, and those are sometimes smelly. But they're still very beautiful :)
