whoops, there goes my goal to sleep before 1:00AM again.
I don't have a problem with waking up early, I actually quite like waking up early for all my 8:45 am classes, I just can't get used to sleeping early. So I'm just not sleeping much at all. Yes, I agree, it is not the healthiest option.
But today was such a joyful day, I just wanted to share about it. It was supposed to be a busy day: submitting assignments, going to a leadership dinner, photographing a callout, attending a company's information session...
But it was filled with so many good conversations and awesome people.
I love good conversation.
Conversation about the random things, like fresh sugared doughnut balls, washing dishes, and Texans surviving in the cold Midwest.
The leadership dinner was for the Cru leaders on campus, and I was seated with some cool people with some awesome testimonies. Cool people who also sought to see God grow in the different parts of campus. I think it's great to have a 'typical' testimony. I heard a new father preach once about how he hoped his daughter could have a 'typical' testimony. Not one rife with pain or sorrow or disdain. But the awesome part is that God is working in every testimony. (And that's CRAZY awesome!)
I love hearing people's stories. Especially people who you've never met. But I love hearing God's stories even more..testimonies of Him in us. The weird and fantastic ways He works to bring us to Him. And the amazing ways He continues to show himself to us.
I am so encouraged! And just very jovial at the moment, that is all.
I should sleep now.
Goodnight!
