WANTED: Prayer

Welp today was interesting.
Not only do I feel less than great due only to (you know what), but we discussed religion in my C205 Business Communications team meeting. Yeah.
I haven't thought about the answers to any "religious questions" in, I don't even know how long. That's pretty sad. But nevertheless, it's stressful.
It started with "Why can't rich people go to heaven?"
: Well, the bible doesn't say that.
"A camel can't fit into the eye of the needle, it's impossible."
"No it's not, you just chop the camel up into tiny pieces."
: Yeah, it says that it's extremely difficult for a rich person to go to heaven because of their focus on material goods and their wealth over God. In the verse after it says, with God anything is possible.

Then it went on to "How do you explain dinosaurs."
: That's a really great question, I have no idea, I really wish I knew.

And then it twisted a bit and went through evolution vs creation vs the Big Bang.
I. honestly don't even know about the developments in all the sciences around that theory.
"It's actually been scientifically proven."
:No it hasn't, it's all circum...
"No really, they've proved it with actual evidence."
    :
[Include some jokes about Bill O'Riley and his comments on God creating things.]

And then "Why did God send a flood that killed everyone on the earth and then wiped out like two cities?"
:Because God is a just God, and He enforces His justice. I can't explain his reasoning completely, I'm not God

We then went through Jesus' miracles of water into wine, feeding the hundreds/thousands, etc etc.
I kept reiterating that I don't understand and can't explain everything. And that my faith came not only from a belief in God but the belief in Jesus and His death and resurrection.(On a side note/self-revelation, to those who don't believe literally (rather than the stories being 'symbolic' or 'representative') that he could feed the thousands and hundreds or change water into wine, that God created the heavens and the earth and that with God a camel could go through the eye of a needle, how on earth could Jesus die on the cross, be dead for three days, and rise again? It all makes sense: if you believe that God created the heavens and the earth, why would it be beyond you to believe all the miracles Jesus performed? As N used to say, if you can't get past Genesis 1:1, you might as well stop reading.)

I've given it some thought. (And done some light reading/skimming through Wikipedia)
I believe that God created the heavens and the earth, and everything on the earth. He might have done so through the Big Bang, or something, we don't know his measure of "time" (days, weeks, etc).
Every theory and belief comes with doubts, "problems". But I believe in God because He's shown me his love through Christ Jesus time and time again. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again. The message of the gospel is simple. God is not. He is beyond our comprehension in pretty much every way possible. And yet,
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe."
1 Corinthians 1:18-19, 21
But even so,
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile." Romans 1:16

But please pray for me. Pray for opportunity, pray for God to speak through me, pray for him to use me for his glory.

THE END.
