freshman day #48

I haven't written about the weekend. Nothing much happened. I spent Saturday morning reading my bible and journaling and praying, and it felt good to reconnect with God. Thank you God for being so loving all the time, even when I don't put You first.

It rained all weekend. So I didn't get to go to Kroger :(
Sunday morning I biked to church because I didn't get a ride. It was okay on the way there, but it rained while I was riding back. I figured I could bike while holding an umbrella. It worked surprisingly well I must say. 
But I really am loving Exodus. The pastor is quite a good speaker. They do communion a little differently, but I'm not sure how much weight/concern I should put on that. It's in the gym of the Boys & Girls Club downtown, so not super set up, but it's a really loving environment and the pastor has had great messages; he made Daniel so...applicable. Of course we read it in Sunday school a while back, but it's always nice getting refreshed. 

That's all I have for now. I do have pictures! The sky was beautiful after the rain on Sunday. The weather was breezy and cool today too, AH, love love love the weather. Today was a nice relaxing day. I'm super productive outside of my dorm room, just sit in a library, play music and HOMEWORK. So that was nice, although I haven't done anything since I got back to my room.... but I wore fall-ish clothes today, shout-out to Janice and the lovely scarf she got me ;)
