freshman day #30

One month.

HEY, guess what. I have officially been on the campus for a month! 30 Days at least, and that would be your average month right?

and I would like to say, I HAVE FRIENDS NOW! We ate together at like 10. And chatted. omg I have friends. Oh today I also landed like splat-face-on-concrete after I braked going down a slight incline. Clumsy Stephanie at her best.

Today I had a bunch of random stuff that doesn't really matter. Then I had my interview! I think it went pretty well, we'll hear about the results Sunday!

I had forgotten to practice the questions that I REALLY have difficulty with: Tell us about a time (you overcame a challenge in a group/had to think on your feet/worked with a difficult member/dealt with a major issue) kind of thing. Oh dear, I hope my examples were okay....and then also the fun questions. I'm not very good at those. Especially the weird ones. Because I'm not very creative.

They asked,
If you were the size of a penny for a day, what would you do?
I said, I would not go in the woods. And I would befriend a bird and fly.
I SHOULD HAVE SAID, I would jump inside a computer and/or a smart phone and see all the workings of the phone.

If you had to get rid of any state in the U.S, which state would you get rid of?
I said, since I'm from Texas, I would get rid of all the states and just be a separate nation. But if I could only choose one, it would be Alaska simply because I don't dislike any state that much really.
I don't know how else I could have answered that.

If you were a brick in a wall, what brick would you be?
I said, I'd be a brick at mid-level in an important building like an embassy or in Washington, simply so I could hear all the conversations and still see everything.
I SHOULD HAVE SAID, I would have been a brick in like, the Great Wall, or like the Greek architectures. Or just some actual building name so I would sound intellectual/knowledgeable about architecture.

If you could be any animal, what animal would you be?
LIKE WHAT?! I thought this one was like, the hardest, after the state one. Because this one could actually tell somebody about yourself. I just said some kind of bird, because I could fly and travel, like how birds migrate in the south and such.
I SHOULD HAVE SAID, man I don't even know. IDK why I did the bird thing twice, that's not good. I could have at least elaborated more, like, how birds work/stick together when forming those migrations. or are those just geese. Oh goodness I'm stupider than I remember.

OH HERE'S A PICTURE OF THE MOON. We did not have anything tonight to celebrate mid-autumn festival, though they did have something Sunday. You can't see the moon really, but it was just so pretty. Cool how we could all see it from where we were ♥.
